My first show in over 25 years - a long time coming. Crazy to see my logo with one of the most Iconic rappers of our time.
We stand for authenticity, hard work, and real artistry. Grael Productions exists to uplift artists, produce unforgettable shows, and bring a rare level of dedication to every project. Built on Detroit grind and Oakland soul, we focus on honest relationships, high-quality production, and creating opportunities that help artists grow. Every move we make is about respect for the culture, the craft, and the people behind the music.
My first band GLE aka Ghetto Lounge Experience. The '90s were wild, and every show felt like anything could happen.
Co-produced the Detroit release party for 50 Cent’s The Massacre while working under Embarco Management and Shady Records. I wasn’t the top producer, but I handled a lot of the on-the-ground work — helping coordinate the venue, supporting artist access, and arranging the party essentials, including 500 chicken wings and 500 biscuits as a nod to 50’s name, along with 50 dancers and 50 bottles of Cristal. It ended up being one of the wildest and most memorable hip-hop nights in Detroit.
Now On formed in the mid-2000s, bringing together some of Michigan’s strongest underground hip-hop talent. The group included Jackson Perry, Mike Demps (IX Lives)—son of Detroit legend Larry “Squirrel” Demps of The Dramatics—and Andrew Cohen (DJ Haircut, now known as Mayer Hawthorne).
During this period, I worked directly with the group, helping manage bookings, and securing live shows—
I worked in A&R for Ocean Floor Records in the mid-'90s when conscious hip-hop was raw and real. We were involved with artists like Haiku D'Etat, Abstract Rude, Great Scott, Myka 9 and Aceyalone-artists who stood for something. Ocean Floor wasn't corporate; it was underground, and all heart, and being part of that era was one of the realest experiences I've ever had in music.
Worked as an entertainment agent for Stars The Agency, booking talent across every style of entertainment — from live bands and classical musicians to specialty performers and unique acts like ice sculptors. Managed bookings and client relations for a wide range of artists, including well-known acts such as Boz Scaggs, Train, & others. This role expanded my experience in negotiating contracts, coordinating performances, and handling diverse entertainment needs for events throughout the Bay Area
Smokestack – Artist Management (Detroit)
Coordinated bookings, rehearsals, show logistics, and artist development.
DJ Bobo – Artist Management (Detroit)
Worked on various behind-the-scenes productions including stage flow, equipment setup, and live-event coordination.
Other Bands & Artists (Detroit/SF/Oakland)
Managed and supported multiple local and regional artists across genres, handling bookings, logistics, and performance coordination
One of the few music videos I'm in. Split second rocking the Pre-release sample Made In Detroit jacket with now classic "Shifter" logo. I was sad cuz they cut off my head and featured the logo haha. At least I got to keep the jacket. I served as his temporary onsite manager a couple of times and also acted as pseudo security for Paradime. Every show was off the hook!
Sharing one of Slick Rick's classic videos - honored to be co-producing his upcoming show.
